Bond Updates and Construction Projects Home
Update: Bond and Construction Projects – March 3, 2026
Construction is moving forward on several projects. We are excited to break ground at West High School later this month and expect to break ground at Highland High School in April.
Student athletes are already adjusting to temporary practice locations:
- West High teams are using the track and field at Glendale Middle School.
- West High baseball and softball teams are practicing at Rosewood Park.
- Highland High teams are practicing at the new Rosslyn Heights Sports Complex.
Thank you to our coaches, athletic directors, bus drivers, and construction crews for working together to coordinate schedules and keep student activities running smoothly during this transition.

Decisions about artwork have not yet been made. An inventory and evaluation process will occur later in the rebuild timeline, and the district will share more information as we reach that stage.
